Reflexology

What Is Reflexology?

Reflexology is an ancient form of natural medicine which may have been practiced five thousand years ago.

An Egyptian frieze on the tomb of King Ank two hundred years before Christ illustrates the king receiving manipulation on his feet, thought to be Reflexology.

The Bible mentions that Jesus washed the feet of people outside the temple before they entered which may have had more implication than simple hygiene.

What Is The Procedure?

The application of a light finger massage over the foot is found to be very relaxing.

In Reflexology every organ and gland in the body can be mapped out on the soles of the feet or the palms of the hands. These areas are known as reflex points.

Tenderness over a point will alert the practitioner to areas of weakness which can be rectified before the condition advances.

Pressure is light normally and corrects imbalances in the body’s ten zones and thereby restores health to the body.
